New Growth

  • Rose Thun

Today I am continuing the spring theme and recommending thinking about new growth.

This week’s new GPT in the AI Playground is to help you grow in the direction you’d like to go. Enter one dream you have or direction you’d like to grow in and the GPT will return 3 sample books that address that topic and suggest a few steps to start. So instead of procrastinating until I read a bunch of books, I can get started now. You can go directly to chatGPT if that is easier.

Hope you’ll give it a try.

Here’s a sample of a quick query:

I'd like to be more disciplined about achieving my goals

Spring Growth GPT

To foster discipline in achieving your goals, consider these three books from my knowledge source:

  1. "Atomic Habits" by James Clear focuses on building and sustaining powerful habits. Clear provides insights into making small changes that have a big impact on your daily routines, ultimately leading to significant achievements.

  2. "Grit" by Angela Duckworth delves into the power of passion and perseverance. Duckworth's research shows that the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent but a special blend of persistence and passion she calls "grit."

  3. "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey offers a principle-centered approach for solving personal and professional problems. Covey presents a holistic, integrated, principle-centered approach for solving personal and professional problems.

To utilize these insights:

  • Start small: Implement tiny habits that can grow over time (inspired by "Atomic Habits").

  • Embrace perseverance: Cultivate a mindset that values hard work and resilience as key components of success ("Grit").

  • Be proactive: Begin with a clear understanding of your destination and use principles to guide you toward your goals ("The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People").

Best wishes,

Rose
